Synopsis

11th century: The physician Rob Cole finds himself back in his old homeland of London after fleeing Isfahan, accompanied by his companions, with the goal of spreading the light of his medical knowledge. Soon, he becomes entangled in the intrigues of the royal court, and once again he must fight: for the lives of his patients, for the recognition of his work, and against an entirely new challenge—the suffering of the human psyche.
