"Frau Böhm sagt Nein" fictionalises the history of various recent economic scandals in an exciting and moving way. While the staff of a large traditional company fear for their jobs and future, the powerful in the company allow themselves outrageously generous severance payments and make works council members submissive with pleasure trips. Only the courageous secretary Rita Böhm (Senta Berger) finds the courage to stand up to the bosses and expose their machinations.
