In the early 1990s, department store extortionist Arno Funke was up to mischief under the pseudonym "Scrooge McDuck" (Dagobert). He planted bombs, blackmailed department stores, fooled the police and kept the media and people busy. His deeds led to the longest and most spectacular extortion case in German criminal history.
